For Immediate Release
Our firm was retained by New York entity Spectra Products, LLC to collect a New York commercial foreign judgment in Texas under the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act. On July 5, 2012, our firm filed suit against Phoneternet, LLC d/b/a Maestro Concierge and d/b/a Sosforall in the 298th Judicial District Court of Dallas County, TX. The lawsuit makes the following allegations:
Phoneternet, LLC d/b/a Maestro Concierge and d/b/a Sosforall owes our client, Spectra Prodcuts, LLC, more than $23,000.00 in business debt. The debt has already been reduced to a civil judicial judgment in New York State. The judgment is valid in Texas due to the full faith and credit provisions of the United States Constitution and can thus be collected in Texas via the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act. Our client seeks the full amount of the judgment plus pre and post-judgment interest, costs of court and attorney’s fees.
Phoneternet, LLC is represented by Texas foreign judgment lawyers Casey Erick and Whitney Abbott of the Law Office of Erick & Thomas in Dallas, TX. They may be contacted at 214-691-6200 or reached through their website at http://www.DallasEmploymentAttorney.net/.
