For Immediate Release
In a Texas dog bite case, our firm recently filed suit on behalf of our client against two Pit Bull dog owners. The lawsuit was filed in the 419th Judicial District Court of Travis County, Texas.
The lawsuit alleges that the pit bull owners knew that the dog was vicious because it had bitten at least two other people before it attacked our client. The lawsuit alleges that the attack committed against our client was so violent that our client was forced to spend days in the hospital recuperating after receiving at last 47 stitches in the lower extremities. The lawsuit alleges that because pit bulls are inherently dangerous animals, the Defendants knew or should have known that the dog at issue was violent, despite their actual knowledge of the prior attacks. The lawsuit seeks actual and punitive damages and will be tried to a jury.
Questions can be directed to Plaintiff’s attorney Casey Erick, who may be reached telephonically at 214-821-1700, or by electronic inquiry via this website.
